These terms cover the website only. Work we carry out for a client is governed by a separate written engagement, which takes precedence over anything here.

Velkor is a buyer-side supplier intelligence and procurement services firm. Depending on what is agreed, an engagement may include reviewing public records, reviewing documents provided to us, putting structured questions to a supplier, comparing offers against a single specification, and coordinating an order through to dispatch.

What is in scope is agreed with you before work begins. Nothing on this website is an offer of a fixed package, a price, or a turnaround time.

This section matters more than any other on this page. Please read it.

• An assessment records what could and could not be established from the information available at the time. It is not a guarantee about a supplier, their goods, their conduct or their solvency.
• Findings are limited to the evidence we could obtain. Where something could not be corroborated, we record that — an absence of a finding is not a finding of absence.
• We do not issue scores, grades, rankings or confidence ratings, and we do not recommend that you proceed or decline. The commercial decision is yours.
• A physical site visit is not part of every engagement. It is carried out only where it is specifically scoped and can be arranged.
• Public records, registers and certificates are maintained by third parties. We report what they show at the date we checked; we do not warrant that they are accurate or current.
• Assessments are dated. Circumstances change after the date of a report, and we are not responsible for changes after it.

Submitting a requirement brief or booking request does not create a contract between us. It is a request for us to consider. We may decline any enquiry, and we will say so plainly rather than leave it unanswered.

A consultation booking is a request for a slot and is confirmed by email. Until you receive that confirmation, the slot is not held.

When you send us information, you confirm that:

• You are entitled to share the documents you upload, and doing so does not breach an obligation of confidence you owe to someone else
• The information you give us about your requirement is accurate as far as you know
• You will not use this website to send unlawful, infringing or malicious content

We treat what you send us as confidential. We do not disclose a buyer's identity, requirement or documents to a supplier being assessed unless you instruct us to, and we do not act for a supplier seeking a favourable report about itself.

The content, design and structure of this website, and the format of our reports, belong to Velkor. You may read, print and share pages for your own business purposes. You may not republish, resell or systematically copy them.

Where we deliver a report to you under an engagement, you may use it for the decision it was prepared for and share it within your organisation and with your professional advisers.

This website is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and nothing on it is professional, legal or financial advice.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of contract, loss of opportunity or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website. Liability for work carried out under an engagement is dealt with in that engagement.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of this website without notice, and we may revise these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Nagpur, Maharashtra, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
