Cookies

One cookie, and only if you allow it.

No advertising, no profiling, nothing sold to anyone. One analytics cookie that measures which pages are read — and the site works identically if you say no.

The short version

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets cookies, and it will not do so unless you allow it. Until you answer, Google's script is downloaded but switched off: no cookie is written, no identifier is stored and no measurement is recorded. If you decline, it stays switched off.

If you decline, the site behaves in exactly the same way. Nothing is withheld, no feature is degraded and you will not be asked again on this browser.

We used to run nothing at all, and said so here. We have added measurement because we could not otherwise tell which pages are useful to buyers, and we now advertise, which means Google has to be able to verify its tag is present — so the script loads for everyone, inert, rather than only after you agree. That is a real change from what this page said before. We would rather write it down plainly than quietly revise the small print.

What this site actually uses

Analytics
Google Analytics 4, only with your permission. It sets cookies in your browser and records which pages you visit, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device and browser you used. Retention is set to the shortest period Google offers.
Your choice
Whether you allowed or declined is kept in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie. It never reaches our servers. Clearing your site data makes the question appear again.
Advertising
No advertising cookie is ever set, whether or not you agree. We advertise on Google, so Google's tag is present on the site, but advertising storage, ad personalisation and Google Signals are switched off explicitly and stay off even after you allow analytics — so the data cannot be used to build an advertising profile of you. When someone reaches us from one of our advertisements and then writes to us, we record which advertisement it was, in our own records. That is described below.
Where you arrived from
If you reach this site from an advertisement or a link we have tagged, the tag in the address bar is held in your browser's session storage until you send us a brief or book a call, and is then saved alongside that enquiry so we know which advertisement it came from. It is not a cookie, it is deleted when you close the tab, and it is never shared with the advertising network or anyone else. If you do not contact us, it is never read at all.
Essential cookies
None on the public site. The admin area sets a session cookie, but only Velkor staff can reach it.
Embedded content
None. No third-party video, map or social embed is loaded.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard request logs, including IP address. These are not cookies and are not used to profile you.

Web fonts are served from Google Fonts, which loads font files. This does not set cookies on your device, but the request does reach Google's servers and includes your IP address as any request would. This happens whether or not you allow analytics.

What we do not do

  • Sell or share visitor data with anyone
  • Advertise through tracking networks, or build advertising profiles
  • Attempt to identify you personally from analytics data
  • Connect what you read on this site to a brief you later submit
  • Run any tracking at all before you have said yes

IP addresses are anonymised before Google stores them, and we do not have access to any identifier that would let us work out who an individual visitor was.

05

Changing your mind

Your answer is remembered in this browser's local storage. To be asked again, clear this site's data through your browser settings — usually under Privacy, then site data or stored data. Choosing to decline at that point stops analytics from loading on any later visit.

Every major browser also lets you block or delete cookies outright, and offers a private browsing mode. Blocking cookies does not affect how this site works for you.

06

Forms and what they hold

When you fill in the requirement brief or a booking request, what you type stays in your browser's memory until you submit it. It is not saved to your device and it is not sent anywhere until you press the submit button. Closing the tab discards it.

07

If this changes

If we add another provider, or measure something not described above, this page will say so and name it. Where a change means more data about you is processed, you will be asked again rather than carried over on an answer you gave to a different question.

The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
